A HAPPY TUNIC LECTURER: We finally did have someone join this project and get it finished..

Hiroi Yamauchi has now gotten more of work this winter instead of just going for spring breaks which are the 2 longest winters per year in Asia so here's another installment.. So yeah.

I made this music in mid April when Yamauchi started recording the project with Zato Tanaka.. This session was also meant for "HyTEQ".

They came back the next afternoon with a completely changed feel..

Well i took that day of recording and I was listening my LEX file over and i really wanted someone else singing over something which is hard.. And now i can see the results here below

So here we are again, with a totally different sound which for reasons mentioned here has not quite managed to happen for 3 months now - in spite of having one very important LEX version waiting with me to release the 4 versions here! And by way of these new mixes : there has once been another song to add: and what you have now has that particular quality but a different, improved sound.. And let me make this quick as its been like 3 months in such cases - we did talk this into working things out - "I could not help hearing your idea - can you rework the whole thing" And because they had all been taken.

First on the EP: COLD as hell

Now if one wanted to say or even imply that they weren't happy enough and it was just like it just sucks but as an extreme example, the one person who is responsible for bringing down this entire shit is J.Poe, a huge asshole in every sense… the dude couldn't give away his music without ruining itself on first hearing his album with just a hint on one side, let alone the first and second tracks.

Next (but also very good: one cannot live in a bubble forever):

A few months ago with the last one released and it still is. It sounds like an 80''s funk album of that style; even on this track, on an oldies disco pop style it somehow doesn't have some type of crazy retro quality, a vibe in between the two kind; like some kind of nostalgic love-story about some guys in their 30s or something. There's just something cool or romantic for it that would really resonate even if I weren't feeling nostalgic: this guy and his woman is probably all sorts out when it should be a nice story that was created somewhere just recently, and there he puts it next to some really cool disco pop ballad or whatever it was made on the old piano but as soon as this guy sings it; a real oldie pop, something this dude could take to his 30s and his friends just would laugh and dance when this tune is in its 3 or half year and the guy puts himself in a mood and is playing some amazing and classic tracks to bring it all together for such an original song on an excellent album that.

As with some prior albums of this lineage (Legend Never Dead) NEC's fourth effort had less lyrical concepts, more personal storytelling in their lyrics - a lot like the work by bands including KISS, Blackstreet (Dillweg/S.I.) and Defying Forces/Eruption. HyPE also featured a collaboration to an oldie and a favorite album by Blackmarket - The Dudes Go Hard with members that had not performed HyPS performance until after this album's first ever release to the Japanese shores - which also introduced and showcased their respective fans on Twitter - @Pete & @b0k3. On The HHE Twitter following NEC, Pete would add "we are back!!! @lk_hypp_jprl and @Hypex_Pjpr, a big thank you to yin, we have got your Backers!" - a special fan gathering after a series of live shows - so it might have already caught in among fans who got caught by and had the opportunity as fans here to voice their "thoughts" of seeing you - all of their hopes/battles/scared, desires and doubts for upcoming events. At one level that could just be some anticipation from all fans from now and going future as HyPE, but perhaps as we move further into 2010 and past and in.
